Your reservation is confirmed when QCR sends written confirmation, receives any required payment and gives you reasonable access to the applicable rental terms. An enquiry, quotation or WhatsApp request alone does not guarantee availability.
Reservations may be requested online, by telephone, through WhatsApp, at the Leeward Highway main branch or through the QCR team at Providenciales International Airport. The reservation is not confirmed until QCR issues written confirmation.
Bookings normally guarantee a vehicle group or comparable category. A particular make, model, colour or registration is guaranteed only when QCR confirms it in writing.
Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially during busy travel periods. Same-day and airport reservations may be available, but remain subject to vehicle availability and completion of all rental requirements.
Written cancellation received at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time is free. For a cancellation within 48 hours, QCR may retain no more than one day’s base rental rate. Unused protection, extras and related tax are not retained.
A no-show occurs where the vehicle is not collected, no cancellation is received, QCR cannot make successful contact and the customer does not contact QCR within four hours after the scheduled pickup time. A properly disclosed flight delay is not automatically treated as a no-show.
Provide accurate flight details and keep QCR updated. QCR will protect a properly disclosed delay where reasonably possible. Any after-hours collection arrangement must be confirmed in writing.
Collection and Return
Vehicle collection may be arranged at Providenciales International Airport, the QCR main branch at 8 Leeward Hwy, or another location confirmed by QCR. Selected hotel delivery may be available by prior arrangement.
Only with QCR’s prior written approval. Returning the vehicle to an unapproved location may result in actual supported retrieval, parking, towing or related charges.
Request the extension before the agreed return time. An extension is valid only after QCR confirms availability, the revised return time, applicable charges and any required payment or security update in writing.
A 30-minute grace period applies. After the grace period, each started late hour is charged at 25% of the daily base rental rate, capped at one additional Rental Day. Four started late hours or more are charged as one additional Rental Day instead. The hourly and full-day charges are not stacked.
Only where QCR approves an unattended return and provides the parking, security, key-drop, photograph and notification instructions. The customer should follow every instruction and keep the sent confirmation.
Customer custody ends when the vehicle is left at the approved location, secured, the keys are returned as instructed, the required photographs or information are sent and all approved unattended-return steps are completed. Responsibility may continue where instructions were not followed and that failure caused or contributed to loss.
Charges and Payments
Yes. A standard US$500 card Security Pre-authorisation is required before vehicle release. It is a temporary hold, not a rental fee or automatic charge.
QCR initiates release of unused authorised funds within one Business Day after the return inspection and account reconciliation. The customer’s bank or card issuer controls when the released amount becomes available.
All major credit and debit cards supported by QCR’s terminal and merchant provider are accepted, subject to successful authorisation. The cardholder may be required to be present and provide identification.
The ordinary rental record contains masked card information only. QCR does not record or retain a PIN, CVV or security code, card-track data or a full image of the card.
A 12% Vehicle Hire Stamp Duty applies to the base rental rate, approved extensions, additional rental time, vehicle upgrades and the Child or Booster Safety Seat. Tax is shown separately where applicable.
US$10 per day, capped at US$70 per rental, plus 12% Vehicle Hire Stamp Duty. Availability should be requested in advance.
Yes, after QCR verifies and records the person as an Approved Driver. The first additional Approved Driver is included free. Further Approved Drivers are US$5 per day, capped at US$35, plus tax only where legally required.
Protection
Every vehicle includes the mandatory Required Rental Protection Package at US$20 per Rental Day. It includes the required local third-party motor liability component and the Included Vehicle Damage Waiver, subject to the Rental Contract. There is no separate CDW selection, and the package cannot be declined.
No. QCR treats the Required Rental Protection Package as non-taxable under its approved tax treatment. The charge is itemised separately from the taxable base rental rate.
For a qualifying incident while the Included Vehicle Damage Waiver remains valid, the customer pays the lesser of the actual supported qualifying loss or US$1,500. It is not an automatic charge.
For a qualifying incident, the maximum includes qualifying vehicle damage, directly related reasonable towing or recovery and supported loss of use. QCR does not add duplicate or unsupported amounts above the valid maximum.
No. Excluded loss may remain chargeable, including loss caused by deliberate conduct, fraud, prohibited use, an unauthorised driver where that use caused or materially increased the loss, beach or seawater driving, wrong fuel, lost keys, tyre or rim damage, and other exclusions stated in the Master Vehicle Rental Terms.
Stop safely, assist where needed, contact emergency services where appropriate and notify QCR promptly. Contact the police where required. Do not admit liability or privately settle a third-party claim. Take photographs and collect relevant details where it is safe to do so.
Material charges require reliable evidence such as photographs, inspection records, invoices, estimates, receipts or authority notices. QCR does not impose automatic, punitive, undisclosed or duplicate charges.
Rental Rules
The minimum age is 25. Every driver must hold a full valid driving licence, provide acceptable identification and be verified and recorded by QCR.
An international driving permit, certified translation or local visitor permit may be required depending on the country that issued the licence, the language of the licence and the length of stay. QCR will explain any requirement during verification.
Only an Approved Driver recorded by QCR may drive. An unauthorised driver affects the Included Vehicle Damage Waiver only where the unauthorised use caused, contributed to or materially increased the relevant loss.
Same-to-same. Return the vehicle at the fuel level recorded at collection. Missing fuel is charged at the reasonable replacement cost plus a US$15 refuelling service fee.
Routine cleaning and a reasonable amount of light dry beach sand are included. A cleaning charge applies only where the condition is materially beyond normal rental turnaround and is supported by evidence.
No. Driving on beaches, through seawater, deep or loose sand, unsafe floodwater or unsuitable terrain is prohibited. Ordinary paved roads and suitable tourism access roads are permitted.
No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the vehicle. Evidence-based specialist remediation may be charged at the actual reasonable cost, capped at US$250 unless separate physical repair is required.
QCR coordinates roadside assistance without a separate coordination fee. QCR pays for a company-responsible breakdown. The customer pays actual supported third-party costs for customer-caused events such as lost keys, wrong fuel, impact damage to a tyre or rim, prohibited-terrain recovery or running out of fuel.
QCR records and stores ordinary found property for a reasonable period, normally up to 30 days. The customer pays actual postage, courier and packaging costs where delivery is requested.
Privacy and Support
